measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mel, unplugged Well, Erich and I solved the internet connection problem this morning. :) My ethernet port is still broken, and will most likely remain that way for quite some time. It's an expensive fix... a raping, as I've been told by various people who fix iBooks. They recommended that I just get a wireless hub and take advantage of my AirPort card. So... total cost (with a 1 year accident-inclusive warranty) to solve the issue: $145.00. AND, I can now sit anywhere in the apartment, sans wires, and surf the net. :) The hub has a 1,145 foot range... theoretically, that means we could sit at the McDonalds nearby and surf as we eat. Now THAT is slackerdom, folks. Stuffing yourself full of Big Macs and net 'surf at the same time. Hee hee hee...
