measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pico revisited Well... LOL. I think this entire situation makes a bit more sense. I was just about to take Pico to the vet this morning, when the vet calls me and lets me know that the owners were in contact with him. When the vet called this morning to finalize the agreement to relinquish control, the actual owner, Mary, FREAKED (which is probably the best reaction at the moment, honestly). The person I talked to on the phone the other day (who could care less about this cat) was the grandson of the actual owner who had been house-sitting for her while she was away to Florida. So the vet called me to ask permission to release my phone number to Mary to arrange to get Pico back to her. I agreed, and she came by about ten minutes ago to get him. This woman was sooooooo happy to see this cat. So I think everything over the last couple days makes a bit more sense now. Pico's back with Mary, and now Colley is calming down. LOL. I think I have my answer (at least while I live in this apartment) about bringing another cat in. My affectionate little guy is POSSESSIVE.
