measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Hampshire Sunday It's 9 a.m. and I'm camped out on the back porch of Greg and Kelly's house up in Penacook, NH. We're up there a ways-- lots more trees than houses once you get up this far. There's a relaxing, stress-free attitude about it all. I woke up this morning, and felt refreshed-- even though I was sleeping in a strange place. Not to mention one that was a tad cold, since the porch is a three-season one with no heat. :) I rarely sleep with layers on. I did last night. But actually, it felt really good to wake up to the cold. Invigorating, even. Erich and I drove up with LGM and the rest of the Boston crew to Greg & Kelly's for their Cinco de Mayo party yesterday. We partied with everyone, and then once the "straights" left, we started a game of Heroes. Unfortunately, we started a bit too late, and I began fading within two hours of the game start. Granted, having random types of alcohol yesterday did not help... my buzz had left, leaving me to fight off the fatigue of an impending hangover. Not to mention a slightly sick stomach from the mix of Mexican food and an attempt by Greg to see how Mexcal would work in a 'rita in place of regular tequilla. Oh, don't ask. It tasted like leather. Seriously. *shudder* I couldn't finish the thing. Ah, yes-- the joys of drinking really weird-ass-shit. At least we didn't torture ourselves with the Mexcal too much... we could have gotten down to the worms again. Apparently Greg's still envious-- after five years-- that Avatar got the worms in the LAST bottle of Mexcal that we dared scare ourselves with. Why consuming the worms at the bottom of the bottle is even an issue, I don't know! So I finally bowed out at around 12:30 in the morning and crashed out while everyone else played for perhaps another hour. LGM, Erich, and I stayed overnight. The rest of the guys went home last night due to finals and such coming up.
