measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Superbowl's not so super... I'm glad the Bucs won. Partially for LGM, who needs something to cheer him up these days with his dad being so ill. Partially because the Raiders are a bunch of goons who whined during the last off-season about how the Pats shouldn't have gotten to the Superbowl. They'll probably whine this off-season about how the Bucs got all the calls. Ironic, since the Raiders get awful lucky during the regular season with penalty calls. I wonder what the pissed off fan riots looked like in the streets of Oakland last night. It was a good evening. Erich's dad and Kevin came over to hang out. We ate, we watched the game, we laughed a bit at some of the commercials. The three guys made several comments about Shania Twain's outfit and her killer boobs. But I've noticed that the Superbowl hype is overshadowing the whole event a bit more significantly each year. The commercials aren't as good as they used to be. While last year's halftime show was great, most years they've just been "Eh..." Granted, after last year's post game experience, it's kinda hard to find an equal. John Madden just really needs to be taken off a Mic before he hurts himself trying to get a coherent sentence out. My god that man rambles. It hopefully will be a quiet week. I have all of my paperwork sorted to enter into the databases, and thankfully have the help from the new temps for Edit Services and Pub Processes to get caught up.
