I stay out of the office for a measly day, and what happens?

The entire office explodes into a big crisis ball from hell

Dear Goddess.

200 emails.

TWO HUNDRED FUCKING EMAILS IN ONE DAY

And of course all of it is impending doom that will destroy the earth if it isn't dealt with immediately. *groan* And I even knew it in the back of my mind yesterday that I was going to walk into a firestorm today.

I wonder if they'd notice if I slipped a nip of alcohol in my coffee to keep me a bit more relaxed today.

I'm glad I need to drive into Boston at lunch to get my mail at the post office. I need to do some venting, and I think a good insanity-filled conversation with myself in the car is just what I need.

*grumbles*
