measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mmmmm... high speed internet We're connected at home again! Cable TV and internet. Yes, [erich] and I are no longer shut-ins away from the world! This marks a new stage in my technological development. For the first time, I have both digital cable (Boston is still completely analog) and high speed cable modem access (again, Boston is dial-up or DSL only). I'm loving this already-- so much so that I've filled up Erich's Kazaa queue with various crap. I've decided that in light of my Friday Fives for today, I'm going to put together a CD of the songs that I played in Symphonic Band in high school. We did some fabulous stuff, and I know my dad would probably enjoy it, too. So I've begun downloading. Tomorrow, we get my Mac hooked up to the cable modem. For now, we have Erich's computer up and running. Hopefully the Mac won't cause too much trouble...
