I've been rotating hot tea and coffee, and it's just not helping. Even while resorting to wearing my letter sweatshirt-- which was brought for the rush event tonight-- at the office (not exactly work attire). I love how this office is swealtering hot in the summer because they forget to turn on the A/C. By about October, they have the A/C working, and it continues to blast all winter so that it's a requirement to wear five layers to the office to stay warm. Nearly half of the employees here have space heaters under their desks because of the temps in the winter. I think it's a sign. And out of three elevators in our building, only one current works. One hasn't worked since March (with no signs of repair), and one is supposedly going to start getting repaired next week-- an estimated THREE WEEK REPAIR. Not to mention that before mid-July, when a blue 90-day notice showed up, the inspection in all three elevators hadn't been done since October of 2002. No bleeping wonder they're all breaking down. And then the landlords wonder why our company is moving out of the building next spring.
