measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gaming books *drool* My dear sweetie Erich gave me a hell of a 6-month anniversary present last week, and I've been sitting every night absorbing the info: The Wheel of Time d20 system. But it's not just another gaming system, oh no.... It's an AUTOGRAPHED copy of the gaming system. Signed in silver ink by Mr. Jordan himself. *sigh* So how many levels until I can take that rank in Aes Sedai? Not to mention that it has a Ranger (Woodsman) that actually makes sense. Rather than favored enemies, it makes you take ranks in familiarity with an environment. And you gain extra environments at higher levels. PLUS... spells increase in effect as the character increases in levels. I highly agree with this. Although the Ward Against People spell with a five mile radius is a tad extreme. :) Wait... maybe not. --measi Ooops... this was supposed to go into geeks.
