measi's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- no more raining petals... Back in May, I described the view out my window on a cheery May weekend morning. Tonight, as rain began to fall in Boston, I came home to find all of those beautiful crabapple trees gone. Completely wiped away. I have this eery view of the other side of the street and of the street below. I'm not sure I like it. I didn't need this change in my life right now. Those trees were my comforting shield of seclusion inside my apartment. They gave my cats hours of bird-watching pleasure. Now what do they do? I won't have pink petal rain next spring.
